Acrylic Signages

Formset Advertising fabricates acrylic signage across the UAE — signs, letters, and logos cut from acrylic sheet material rather than printed or built from metal. Acrylic is a rigid plastic that takes a clean, glass-like finish without the weight or fragility of actual glass, which is why it's a common choice for anyone who wants a sign that looks precise and polished without the cost or handling risk of glass or metal fabrication.

What Acrylic Signage Is Acrylic sheet comes in clear and a wide range of solid, opaque colours, and can be cut with the same precision whether the sign is a single letter or a full panel with fine detail. It's rigid enough to hold its shape unsupported at moderate sizes, but far lighter than glass or metal of the same dimensions, which keeps mounting and installation simpler. The material also polishes to a high-gloss edge, so a well-cut acrylic sign reads as premium and deliberate rather than mass-produced.

How It's Made Acrylic signage is cut using laser or CNC routing, which allows for precise edges, fine lettering, and custom shapes that would be difficult to achieve by hand-cutting other materials. After cutting, edges are polished or flame-finished for a smooth, glass-like edge rather than a rough cut line. Depending on the sign, acrylic pieces are either mounted flush to a surface, raised on standoffs for a shadow-gap effect, or set into a frame or base.

Why Businesses Choose Acrylic Acrylic gives a modern, clean look that suits both minimalist and detailed designs, since the material can be cut into intricate shapes without cracking the way glass would. It's UV-stable enough to hold its colour and clarity over time rather than yellowing quickly, and it's significantly lighter than stainless steel or glass equivalents, which matters for wall-mounted signage where load-bearing capacity is limited. It's also a practical middle ground: more premium and durable-looking than printed PVC board, without the cost or weight of metal fabrication.

Our Process We start with the exact measurements and layout of where the sign will be installed, since acrylic sign sizing depends on the wall, frontage, or fixture it's going onto. From there we produce a proof showing the finished sign in position before anything is cut, so the design is confirmed before production begins. Once approved, we cut, polish, and install the sign on site, checking alignment and fit as part of the job rather than leaving that to the client.

Why Businesses Choose Formset Advertising Because cutting and finishing happen in-house, we can hold tighter tolerances on fine detail and match colours consistently if you're ordering acrylic signage for more than one location. Every sign is checked for edge quality and fit before installation, not just before it leaves the workshop. We serve retailers, corporate offices, and developers across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, and the rest of the UAE.

What Acrylic Signage Is and Why It Works in the UAE

Acrylic Signage is a durable, precision-cut signage solution made from solid acrylic sheets that can be clear, opaque, or metallic. Unlike printed signs, Acrylic Signage is cut into shapes and letters, creating a clean, premium look with polished edges and a natural shadow gap that adds depth. It is UV-resistant, weather-friendly, and ideal for the UAE climate, as it does not yellow, crack, or warp under heat, humidity, or air conditioning. Lightweight yet strong, Acrylic Signage is easy to install and perfect for reception logos, retail branding, and office interiors, offering long-lasting quality with low maintenance and a high-end finish.

White cursive 3D channel letters for Chicking restaurant brand
Gold mirror finish 3D sign for HOGAR PROPERTIES

Chicking

Chicking needed acrylic channel letters that matched their brand font for a new food court location. We routed the cursive shapes from white acrylic with a five millimeter thickness. The challenge with script lettering is maintaining the connecting strokes between letters while keeping the edges clean. We used laser cutting for the fine curves and flame polished every edge so the white surface stayed bright without burn marks.

The letters were mounted with standoffs to create a shadow gap on the tiled wall behind the counter. The franchise owner needed the sign ready before the soft launch. We delivered the proof in two days and installed within a week. They have since ordered the same sign for three more locations because the brand consistency matters to them.

HOGAR PROPERTIES

HOGAR PROPERTIES wanted a reception desk sign that conveyed trust and permanence. We designed a custom logo combining a house outline with the letter H inside it. The entire sign was cut from gold mirror acrylic. The face has a reflective gold finish that picks up the office lighting and changes appearance as visitors move around the reception area.

The edges were polished to match the face so there is no visible cut line. We mounted it with hidden fixings directly to the desk surface. No visible screws. No gaps. The installation took under an hour and the desk was left untouched except for the mounting points. This is the kind of detail that matters when a potential buyer walks into your office for the first time.
