Refund policy

At Formset Advertising FZ-LLC, every order is produced or arranged based on the requirements you confirm with our team, since most of what we offer — signage, printing, displays, event management, branding, and rental equipment — is prepared or reserved specifically for you. This policy explains how cancellations, refunds, exchanges, and issues with your order are handled across all GCC countries.

1. How Orders Are Confirmed

We do not list fixed prices on this website. Once you submit an enquiry through a service form, our team contacts you by WhatsApp, phone, or email to discuss your requirements and agree on a final price. Your order or booking is considered confirmed once you accept this price, and the cancellation and refund terms below apply from that point onward.

2. Sample Approval for Confirmed Orders

  • For confirmed orders, the first piece or sample of the product will be produced and sent to you for approval before the remainder of the order is processed.
  • You must review the sample carefully for quality, colour, dimensions, material, and overall finish before giving your written approval via email or WhatsApp.
  • If you approve the sample, the remaining quantity will be produced according to the approved sample specifications.
  • If you disapprove or reject the sample, you are bound to pay the sample-making cost as per our Sample Request Policy. The applicable cost will be communicated to you at the time of sample production.
  • Any refund, if applicable, will be processed after the sample cost has been deducted and will be returned to your original payment method within 7 business days.

3. Order Cancellations & Modifications

  • You may cancel or modify a confirmed order at any time before production, preparation, or the scheduled service date, subject to the terms below.
  • Cancelling before production or preparation has started carries a cancellation fee of 10% of the order value or AED 200, whichever is lower, to cover design, prepress, or booking costs already incurred.
  • If production or preparation has already started, we reserve the right to charge for the work completed and any materials, equipment, or staff time already committed, in addition to the cancellation fee.
  • Orders paid by credit card are subject to a processing fee charged by the payment gateway. This fee cannot be refunded, so cancelled card payments are refunded net of this charge.
  • Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 7 business days.

4. Proof & Design Approval

  • Before we print or manufacture your order, we send you a digital proof of the design, layout, or signage artwork for review.
  • You are responsible for checking the proof carefully for spelling, colours, dimensions, and layout before giving your final approval.
  • Once a proof is approved in writing (email or WhatsApp), we are not responsible for errors that appeared in the approved proof but were not flagged before production began.

5. Custom & Made-to-Order Products

Because signage, cutout letters, banners, flags, stationery, and uniforms are manufactured specifically to your approved specifications, these items cannot be returned or refunded once production has begun, except where the product is defective or does not match the approved proof due to a production error on our part.

6. Rental Equipment

  • Furniture, golf carts, display stands, backdrops, and barriers rented from us remain the property of Formset Advertising FZ-LLC at all times.
  • A security deposit may be required before rental equipment is delivered or collected, and will be confirmed with you during the quotation process.
  • You are responsible for the equipment for the duration of the rental period and will be charged for any damage, loss, or late return beyond the agreed date.
  • Cancelling a rental booking close to the scheduled delivery or collection date may result in the deposit being forfeited, since equipment and logistics are reserved in advance. The applicable notice period will be confirmed when your booking is made.

7. Events, Decor & Installation Services

Event management, decor, and branding installation bookings (such as vehicle, wall, or panel branding) involve staff, materials, and scheduling reserved specifically for your date. Because of this, cancellation terms depend on how close to the scheduled date you cancel, and any deposit may be non-refundable if cancelled with insufficient notice. Our team will confirm the applicable cancellation terms and deposit conditions when your booking is confirmed.

8. Production & Installation Errors

  • Please contact us within 7 business days of receiving your order, or of a service or installation being completed, if you believe there is a production error, defect, or installation issue.
  • If the fault is confirmed as a production or installation error on our part, we will reprint, repair, or redo the affected work at no additional cost.
  • If the issue traces back to specifications or artwork you approved, you may choose to proceed as-is or request a modification for a small additional fee.
  • Formset Advertising is not liable for damages or losses arising from products or services that are delayed, incomplete, or defective, beyond the remedies described above.

9. Quantity Delivered

For printed items, we make every effort to deliver the exact quantity ordered. However, due to the nature of print production, a variance of up to 5% over or under the ordered quantity may occur and will be charged or credited on a run-on cost basis.

10. Refund Method

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method and typically processed within 7 business days.
